“Alimentar Enseñando” has a pretty big pool to play and teach the kids swimming. A swimming professor teaches voluntarily the kids to swim during the summer. This venture is very funny but also very important for the development of their body and very interesting for kids. This project is adapted to the wide range of ages of the kids and every part of the classes is dedicated to different levels of swimming.
This project helps a lot to the families during the summer season when the pool is running, because when the kids can swim a minimum, they can have fun without much danger and therefore the fear of the mothers quite diminish.
This project is now done with a volunteer swimming teacher helping a group of students who need and want to progress. The class is given for several days a week during the 4 months of summer when the pool is full. The best thing would be to hire a professional for this job but now we lack resources.
